My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Mark's cabin celebrating my wife's birthday. The home was perfect and extremely cozy as well as being very clean and in great shape. Everything in the home worked flawlessly and directions were very clear. The property was beautiful and the hot tub was a great relaxing treat. The area had great restaurant options nearby. We enjoyed Mill Street Pizza in Vanderbilt and Breakfast at Rise and Dine in Downtown Gaylord. The Coffee at Brennan's was fantastic and we Highly recommend visiting the new winery, Vanderbilt Vines Winery and Tasting Room.

Our family enjoyed the house.
We were visiting in a winter and used the house as a retreat after sky adventure, so we can't say a lot about summer activities on the lake.
The house is nice and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and organized with nice and clean dishes and pots. Hot tub is well maintained and was perfect after the day of skiing. Surrounding nature was giving a sens of peace that we needed. Thank you Mark for sharing your home with our family.

Mark's place was AWESOME! Beautiful home, plenty of room, bedding was very comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the game room. The kitchen was so well stocked, the little things you forget were all there. I believe there were 8 bottles of dish soap under the kitchen sink ! The bathrooms were all very well stocked , besides soap and TP, Mark has toothbrushes and many other ammenities. We were there for skiing but had a rain day so the grandkids were able to go use the indoor pool at the club. I would definitly rent this house again. Thanks Mark!

Mark was very welcoming and made sure the cabin was in good working order before we arrived. He and his wife provided local snacks, restaurant recommendations, and an extra space heater to make sure the cabin stayed warm in the sub-zero temps (it was plenty toasty without it). He was extremely responsive and flexible with out schedule for check-in/check-out

Our stay here was wonderful. Our book club did a girls weekend and this space had everything we needed in a space and more. The sauna and hot tub were a highlight of our trip, there was a surplus of towels and robes for our use, the home was clean and there was ample communication from the host. This is definitely a home I would be happy to return to and know it will be a great experience.

Mark’s place is in a beautiful location and was exactly as described! Had everything we needed and was a very convenient location for Boyne and Gaylord. The owners were very responsive and kind, we would definitely recommend and stay again!

This place was everything we looked for in a house for a group of guys going on a snowboarding trip. The place was clean and well organized with plenty of extras that you normally aren't expecting with an Airbnb. One thing we loved about this house was the little things. The cabinets and bathrooms were full with cups, napkins, bags, pans, coffee, soaps, towels, and anything else you might think of to bring. A lot of that stuff we bought and were surprised to find provided. If we weren't able to find anything the owner, mark, was more then willing to answer any questions. We had a request that most host would consider definite NOs and they were very open to allowing us do them. This was also the cleanest house we have all ever stayed at. This should be considered the standard for excellence in a Airbnb home. Will be recommending to friends and family because this place deserves it.

We needed a larger space for our family Christmas...Mark's place was decorated for Christmas and was perfect for us. The home was clean and beds were comfortable. The amenities were perfect and no detail was left out- we appreciated the goodie bag upon our arrival. The games were a bonus to accommodate the various ages of people and everybody had something to do. The hot tub and sauna were amazing too! When we had a question, Mark responded promptly. Thank you for making our family Christmas 2025 a memorable one!

This was such a sweet and cozy stay, with so many wonderful luxuries! We used the sauna every night (sometimes twice a day!) and the hot tub was such a wonderful option to use on the chilly late October nights! This neighborhood is so beautiful and peaceful, with amazing wildlife to spot (we saw a flock of wild turkeys and several groups of deer during our stay!). The neighbors are so quiet and even though you are close to the other homes and can see some across the green of the course, it really feels so secluded and intimate. The home is absolutely stunning, the decor SO lovely, and the home is FULL of fun things to do! We took advantage of the lovely chess board, pool table, and darts in the game room many times! I’m just sad that our little boy was too small to appreciate it! Mark was incredibly helpful and flexible in his communications and he really went above and beyond for my family on this trip. Thank you Mark for making this little trip possible and for your hospitality!

It was an incredible experience. The home was full of amenities and had everything you could possibly need. The host was very proactive. I’d recommend this place to anyone coming to the area. One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had
